Arrival in Wein....

The trip over was mostly uneventful except for a collision between Hana's pants and a wayward piece of brownie dessert.  When we arrived at the apparently new airport in Vienna there didn't seem to be any normal way (elevator) for a wheelchair to exit the building.  we searched and searched and asked information kiosks and lounge attendants, each who called knowledgable commrads to no avail.  After almost an hour the fellow who helped us off the plane appeared and took us on a "special" employee elevator, to a basement, to an area on the airport side for a 30 metre van ride to the non airport side so we could exit the building and thus to the train; Bizzare!  Anyway, with that out of the way we ventured into the city on the direct train and then a short walk to the hotel.  After cleaning up and a bit of a rest we went for a wander to orient ourselves and to find a bite to eat.  Another beautiful European city with amazing buildings and monuments and many people enjoying the warm summer evening.
