Another lazy morning and then off to tour about to Cordona and Solsana, both towns nearby with historical significance. The Cordona Castle complex sits atop the typical un-breachable stone mount and in it's 1100 year existence was never overrun by any attacking hordes. It is now a government run hotel and conference center but touring the structure you can understand why it stood unvanquished for so long. On to Solsana which has another Medieval heart. The old part of the town is typical of others we've see before and the cathedral built in romanesque style has also been standing for around 950 years. We were not able to see the inside as a funeral was about to start when we were there. Back again later for dinner and into the evening some of the local insects and animals decided to join us much to Laurel's chagrine.
